Some of these gusts are particularly scary sounding

I’m on the South shore of LI, along the edge of an evac zone. Nothing too bad around here so far, but high tide and landfall are coming together in a few hours so that might be when I end up losing power.

Eek, I hope sticking around wasn’t a bad idea.
