Bill Hader is Stalking Me

Ok, I’m exaggerating. But I rarely see the same celebrity twice, but I’ve seen Hader four times. Usually it’s near NYU, but yesterday I was in a Barnes & Noble on the Upper Westside and he was wandering the shelves, talking on his cell phone. Guy walks into the aisle, I hear a voice, look up, and there he is.

Yesterday was extra-weird because I almost asked S. Epatha Merkerson (the black woman in charge of all of the cops on Law & Order) to take one of my surveys after she walked out of a store (I’m a street canvasser). And Ruben Santiago-Hudson (was Captain Montgomery on Castle) walked past me just a couple of hours before she did.

Today, Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda from Sabrina the Teenage Witch) strolled past with her kid, and I ran into a old college friend who flew in from Boston yesterday and has barely told anyone she’s back in New York for a couple of weeks.

Clearly I need to hang out in this neighborhood more.
